El Divino Pool Rules - Summer 2020 (update 10.07.2020)
The swimming pool in Phase 1 of El Divino re-opened on Thursday 9th July. Please note this is not a return to normal pool usage and there is absolutely no guarantee the pool will remain open.
Due to Covid-19 we have to comply with regulations which are a mandatory requirement by the Spanish government to enable us to open the pool. These are not simply rules, this is the law. You are personally responsible for any fine received for failing to comply.
No-one can predict what will happen in relation to Covid-19. It is possible that if the number of cases in the region increase, we will have to close the pool again.
One thing is certain and that is that if people do not follow the rules, we will have no hesitation in closing the pool. These rules are all for your safety and that of other users and are to minimise the risk of infection.
Normal El Divino pool rules still apply: shower before entry, no inflatables, no ball games, no jumping etc. The gardens in both phase 1 and 2 are open for use, provided social distancing is maintained. Again, there is no guarantee the gardens will remain open.
The pool will be open from 10:00 -14:00 and 16:00 to 20:00
The restricted hours are to enable regular disinfection of the area to be carried out by a specialist company. Markings and signs will indicate how you must enter and exit the pool area.
There are strict regulations about the number of people who can use the pool to ensure social distancing.
In the main pool area the maximum number of people is 15
In the children’s pool the maximum number is 4 This includes any adult accompanying the children.
We have hired a pool controller to oversee the use of the pool. Please note he is not a lifeguard. He is there to ensure that everyone using the pool follows the regulations and that people maintain social distancing.
You will be asked to provide your property number before entering the pool. This is primarily so that we can trace people should there be any incidence of COVID-19 reported.
You MUST follow the instructions given by the pool controller at ALL times.
To ensure fair access to the pool, there may be restrictions on the numbers of people allowed in the pool from the same family or group at one time. Please show consideration for others waiting to use the pool.
Please do not be offended if you are asked to leave the pool to allow others to enter. The guideline is a maximum of 1 hour in the pool at any one time.
I would like to thank the administrator and his team and the other owners who have worked hard to enable us to open the pool.
I would also like to thank those who have been in residence up to this point who without exception have respected the closure of the pool and given us their support.
Kind regards - Richard – vice-president
